29/01/13. We frequently find in personal injury cases that there are a number of potential defendants. On a construction site there may be numerous contractors working on different aspects of the project. If an employee is injured, who do they sue? What happens if a customer is injured in a shopping centre by a security guard supplied by a separate security company? When you order a taxi and a self-employed driver arrives to pick you up, who is responsible for your safety?
